Beastie Boys Play Six Degrees of Johnny Cash

On the website for the new Johnny Cash bio pic - "Walk the Line," they have a link where they play six degrees of Johhny Cash - and on the tree the BBoys are linked to him because they sampled "Folsom Prison Blues" on "Hello Brooklyn" - the part where MCA says "I shot a man in Brooklyn - and then the sample "just to watch him die."

I would hardly call that Johnny Cash influencing hip hop - but hey what do I know.
