Well... I realise on the surface of it, it does seem ridiculous. However, you have to realise that there has previously never been any conclusive proof that being physically cold actually contributes to illness, as the 'common cold' is a a viral infection. In particular, this study illuminated the fact that even if we wrap up everyother part of our bodies warmly, if the nose exposed, we are still making ourselves highly susceptible to the virus' full potency due the the constriction of blood vessels in the nose. So yeah at first glance it looks like a news report from the Institute of the Bleedin' Obvious, but actually it is a valid and reasonable important finding.

I surf throughout the whole year. And winter can get fuckin freezing. Im talking every single time your head cause under the water - Head Freeze (Ice Cream Headache times 10). And my toes go like a yellowy white colour and feel numb and hurt like hell. But yeah I surf every day all through Autumn and Winter and I usually get 1-3 colds. Which I spose is pretty good.

We where playing footy one day at school and it was so cold the legs of the hardest guy there went blue. And he was hard.
