I was at a club tonight and I got a good position at the rail, so when a guy tapped me on the shoulder to say, "your friend is in trouble," I said, "yeah, right, nice try" because there was no way I was giving up my hard-earned place. He kept poking me on the shoulder and telling me that my friend needed me, so eventually I turned around and walked back 10 feet to where I'd last seen her, and she was sprawled on the floor with security trying to revive her. She was apparently dehydrated and had fainted. The sweet, sweet young guy had noticed us together earlier tonight so he knew to tell me.

Could I be more self-centered?

It was Atmosphere and a hometown show. We had waited about 5 hours.

She was really embarrassed. I was worried because she hit her head, but she just wanted to go home. She lives with someone who promised to keep an eye on her.

I did skip the end of the show to drive her home.

Well atmosphere...I can understand your reluctance to give up your front row position. But yeah, I probably wouldnt have believed that person either. I mean I had a girl at the beastie boys show at big day out tell me that she was feeling sick and wanted a lift out of the crowd, so i lifted her up to pass her to the security guard and she flashed her tits at the beastie boys  Then she stole my front row spot and wouldnt move :(
