i am currently addicted to Lost.
it's sad - i'm always trying to think of theories and relations between episodes.

my wife's things are scarfs and freaken purses. I mean we are really running out of room for all of them. When we lived in the Middle East, she caught on to the whole ladies wearing scarfs on their head style so, we also have a whole lot of those too.

I have the same thing with bushwalking gear. its a good thing I don't have any money to spend on it otherwise it'd be $600 for a Paddy Pallin sleeping bag, $800 for a Macpac jacket, $500 for a tent, $400 for a MSR hiking stove.

I did spend $300 dollars on a pair of Scarpa Solo's though. Best Boots Ever.

I've had a thing for leather driving gloves for a few years. I'm always worried I'll run out--or you can only find one of the pair when you need them. Whenever I see them at TJ Maxx for cheap, I guy a pair or two. I brought my winter clothes out recently, and I have about 15 pairs that are all new looking. I was at TJ Maxx last week and I didn't even look at them. I also have too many tote bags. I think that both of these stem from my youth, when I had a difficult time finding both affordable gloves and tote bags. I'm otherwise not a shopper.

I had a lot of scarves but I knitted (knit?) the best scarf ever so now it's pointless to have any others.

I used to love bushwalking and camping, especially on high school camps. We did a 9 day camp around falls creek, and a few 5 day ones on the murray and around the waterfalls at lorne. I have all the gear but its cheap shit excluding my backpack.

I dont know what my current addiction is. Maybe cascade apple isle.

I've never looked through the new knitting books.

I'm torn about knitting getting hot again. The tiny expensive stores get cool yarn I can't afford and I can never find enough affordable good wool in one decent color to make an afghan. On the other hand, there actually are yarn stores again.

My only purchasing addiction is Sport Jerseys.

But I've tried to supress it lately.
