Sorry but I'm a huge fan...and until now, I've been a closet Erasure fan. Who's with me??? I know you're out there.

They're pretty gay.

My dad went to boarding school with one of those guys. Seperate dorms.
Anyway I've found a new love in 'A Little Respect.'

Out of the closet now, gayfeatures.
Does anyone else reckon Anthony from Anthony & The Johnsons is the love-child of Andy Bell from Erasure?

Andy Bell is HIV positive.
I just happened to come across that info a while back, it's not like I'm a fan.

Nothin' wrong with Erasure.
Vince Clarke (Depeche Mode, Yaz, Erasure) = (y)

don't give vince clarke credit for depeche mode. their stuff after he left the band is far better than the stuff he wrote. compare Black Celebration, Music For The Masses or Violator with Speak & Spell. Hell, Ultra is better.

Yes, their stuff got better after he left. But that's because they eventually found their own footing. The follow-up to "Speak & Spell" was relatively weak ("A Broken Frame") in comparison and you could tell they missed Vince Clarke.
But Martin Gore and co. sucked it up and got to make some shit that blew "Speak & Spell" out of the water! (y)

I felt that A Broken Frame was bad because Gore got thrown into writing a whole album whereas he only wrote two songs on the last. For a fact they didn't miss Clarke on a personal level, but that album would have been better with his presence.
