Prozac Nation. I don't watch movies though, which is why this deserves it's own thread for me :D

Prozac Nation has been a favourite book of mine for many years and was interested when I heard a movie was coming out, I was interested, then it never came out so I figured it would be shit, if Hollywood rejected it or something cus they release some right hidious movies so I figured it'd be worst. But it wasn't too bad.

Probably not worth buying if it comes out on DVD or is out or something.

You also get to see boobies right at the beginning, but then no more boobies for the whole film. I'm not used to that :p

Annnnnnnnnnnnnyway, what I'm saying is if you are interested in buying it, buy the book instead. The book was cool and really random how I got hold of it all thoses years ago. Which makes it cooler cus when you get a good book that is random it seems better.

what's it about?!

ha, sorry. It's about a girls depression and how she was one of the first to take prozac in America. And it's her autobio of how she grew up, went to harvard, took loads of drugs and different angles of how she handelled depression from an early age. Like she used to cut herself and stuff from about 12. How she pissed off her friends, her obsessive personality. But mainly about depression and that she now lives with it by taking this one little pill a day and how 300 million perscriptions have been given out in the US.

I like the book though.

I hated that movie-the only movie Christinna Ricci has made worth watching was Buffalo '66. And Vincent Gallo's back must have been sore having to carry her talentless hackery through the whole sordid affair
