what history do these guys have together?? were they just friends, or did they collaborate ever or help each other write many songs?? I was pleasantly surprised, when i opened my friend's "sublime" song book (that has the tabs for playing their songs and lyrics etc.) and saw that (i'm not 100% if this is the right song or not) 2 of the boys had helped write "doin' time", which is one of sublime's songs?!?!

p.s. and yes i do know that the lead singer is dead...btw did they bboys perform at the benefit concert they held for the family of the lead singer after he died????

I'm pretty sure that refers to the 'Slow and Low' sample in the song and nothing else. I could be wrong

As for the other collaborations/being friends thing I think Bradley and Sublime were just influenced by the boys, hence resulting in the references (e.g. 'If I was the King Adrock I'd get stupid' - Don't Push), samples and general appreciation.

A Sublime and Beasties show woulda been sick (y)

i know sublime uses "racism is skism on a serious tip" from looking down the barrel of a gun in one of there songs on 40 oz but i forget exactly which and theres and there is another beastie sample from LTI that i cant think of right now used in a sublime song

Bradley had such a beautiful voice. In '98, I asked Gwen what it was like working with him. She had blue hair that night. :D

hmm interesting, yah, all i know is at least one of their biggest songs was "co-written" by adam horovitz and one of the other boys
