Household maintenance

Mr.peachy and I have just spent the better part of yesterday afternoon and today digging out some old manky mildewy grout, replacing tiles, re-grouting and caulking.

But, it's needed doing for a while and I do feel a vague sense of accomplishment.

What's the worst chore you've had to do lately?

The most recent big chore was probably cleaning all the ash and smoke that had spread throughout the house after my better half accidentally left the baby bottles boiling for too long. It took a good 3 days to finally get that dealt with. Other than that, it's been more headaches than chores, really.

More along the lines of what you mentioned, I did have to replace tiles, or, actually, completelyredo the tiles and put up new walls, after my brother and I installed a jaccuzzi tub in the master bedroom ensuite this year.
