View Full Version : ...anyone here ever seen or heard "Into the Woods"?

I really don't like musicals, but there's a chance I might be seeing "Into the Woods" next month; if nothing else, it sounds much, much, much more promising than CATS.

Anyone seen it? Heard it? What'd you think?

hahaha. oh wow. that just brought back memories. my brother's fraternity performed that years ago when i was about 16. i remember seeing him prance out onto the stage in tights and a robin hood-esque tattered shirt, and singing, singing, singing. it was great.

i don't remember too much about the actual musical, though. and it was for charity, so not exactly broadway caliber.

I saw it when it was on Broadway. We went for a school trip. I think I was in 5th or 6th grade, so I don't remember much of it.

It was better than CATS though.

granted, I am a theatre geek, but I think you would like it. It's a pretty funny show, how they combine all the fairy tales.

I have seen Cats and holy shit...that was the most unbearable thing I've ever experienced. I was in the best seats in the house (broadway touring show), and I left at intermission because of how horrified I was. Ugh.
