Ive posted a couple of times, and i see that alot of people know each other from here. I maybe should introduce myself, my name is Johnny i live in Calif. I work for the Post Office as a mail carrier. and most important i am a huge Beastie Boys fan. they had the 2nd rap song i ever heard (Paul Revere) i was at my cousins house and he played me You Be Illin, then Paul Revere. I was hooked ever since (i think that was in Oct of 86) anyway, since Licence to Ill ive bout every Beastie cd the day it was released. I got to see them in concert for the first time in Anehiem at Universal Studios Sept 04. That was an awsome show (from the begining with the dog show, to the opening band Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Common, & DJ Quik) I wish they toured and put out cds a little more often but i cant complain, if it takes that long to put out all classic cds then cool. Look at me rambling, and look at you still reading this. -johnny

I've been here, for.. erm.. longer than a month! *wipes sweat from brow, the time having escaped me* and look how many posts I have. (n) I spose it's quality, not quantity, that counts but considering I once beginning a thread dissing Step On by Happy Mondays, I don't really count in either.

On topic, welcome Johnny! I'm sure we'll be doing lots of talking and not talking, to semi-quote Best In Show.

Welcome johnny....just wondering if you've been a fan since the LTI days, why did it take you so long to finally see them in concert?

The first song I remember hearing from Beasties was The New Style in 86.

I'd like to see you try bitch! No one grasses me up to the pigs. Seriously though, I still enjoy scoobie snacks, especially when I'm lurking- they help to stave off the cold Lancashire air.

I'm new here too-only signed up this month. But I must say you really have to look out for some of the peeps in here - they think they know everything. But just remember, at the end of the day you're the better person who will come out on top. They're all just too full of them-selves and are the one's who will never learn anything about being a real person.
