I've always kinda been partial to DMC, personally. I know Run's the more agile and lyrically skilled of the two, but Dee has/had the more commanding voice between them. I love the unparalleled chemistry between the two of them, but my favorite Run DMC song's probably Hit It Run which, despite the misleading title, mainly features DMC vocals. I mean, that's just pure uncut hip hop right there.

This reminds me of how I look @ Outkast. Of course Andre is the better lyricist hes so good that big boi gets underated and underappreciated. Same with Run DMC. Run is easily one of the best MCs of all time but DMC has a certain style that u wait for his verse just to hear his voice. To bad his voice has gotten to the point it has now...I mean have u heard it latetly its almost a whisper. But yea....Run gets this one, but not by much.

My favourite Run DMC song is probably Ragtime.

"The name's McDaniels. Not McDonald's."
Yeah, DMC has the better vocals. However, their interplay was very awesome. Akin to the interplay between Adrock, MCA and Mike D. They're all stronger when they're together.

I prefer DMC too. I saw them in concert maybe six years ago, and even though he had to rap at a way lower pitch and volume because of his vocal issues, I was still impressed with his rhyming. His "new" voice actually sounded kind of cool against Run's louder, higher pitched voice.
It's really sad that his vocal problems have gotten so severe now, though. It hurts to watch and listen to him in interviews; the guy shouldn't even being doing those in his condition.

Yeah, and we're talking about probably one of the 5 best voices in rap ever. Very unfortunate.

Run is more agile on the mic, but I hated whenever he started speed rapping instead of keeping his flow from songs like 'Sucker MCs.' That's why I can barely stand to listen to him on Back From Hell, not to mention there was hardly any tag team-like vocals between Run and DMC.
All in all, DMC was the better half, and one of the best voices in hip hop like mickill said.

D is for never Dirty, MC for Mostly Clean.
Also, DMC stands for Devastating Mic Control.
