Nice body. Of work.

Haven't seen Horse Mutterer yet, though, but I've heard good things about Match Point.

What I'm trying to say is: I'm there for ya. (y)

Yeah.

I think two of my favorute scenes with her in Lost in Translation were when she was talking to her girlfriend (mom?) on the phone (something's not right/never mind, I'm all right), and when she wanders into the (bonsai?) pruning workshop at that hotel and is instructed where to cut, and she kind of takes to it. Very nice.

She is so classically glamorous she reminds me of old hollywood. I find her so intriguing. Her eyes are so expressive.

If I could have anyone's career it would be hers. Or Nicole Kidman's.

Yeah, she's pretty, but it would be nice if she wasn't so aware of the following?

- I'm not turning into a Hollywood skank so, I won't get silicon, I won't get a 10 seconds tan (we gotta at least have 30 minutes of sun per week according to doctors), nor I'll look like a skeleton.

I'm totally into that, however she shows how AWARE she is of that and that bugs the hell outta my skin!!! :D :p

Knowledge is power.

...I think it's better to be informed and choose not to than to not do something stupid just because you didn't realize it was an option.

Being aware is good, but she SHOWS it way too much with a snobbish look. I hate snobbish look, no matter how they are!

Actors and actresses don't choose to act just for the art purprose. She should be used to that. Like Kevin Bacon once said "There are two types of actors: those who say they don't want to be famous and those who are liars." :p

I don't like false modesty, though.

If all eyes were on Scarlett (and me) at some restaurant, it would be really, really stupid for her to say, "Whoever could they be looking at? Is there a fire somewhere? Why are people so alert?"

...same as Rubenstein saying, "Oh, I'm such a klutz with the piano" or whatever. That's not even modesty -- it's either delusional or patent lying.

What I love is humility -- the right estimation of the self, neither too high nor low.

C.S. Lewis had a beautiful illustratin of humility: that one could walk into the most beautiful cathedral in the world and be just as happy if he (or she) or some other person had dsigned it. He said it better, but hopefully you get the idea.

Modesty doesn't need to be fake, you know.

That snobbosi look "oh, I'm so original, look I'm fat and I liiiike it, how great I am!! I accept myself and blah blah blah". to me that's the same as the person who got silicon saying "look! I just got new boobs!"

It's the same but backwards.

The person doesn't need to lie and say "oh, I'm ugly", but a simple "thank you" would be better than "I don't need to starve myself and get breasts, oh I'm so natural, so much better than everyone, oh I have a brain".

Now, you want a stupid interview (if this is even real)?

Try this from Chris Klein. About every other sentence has a doozy in it.

I had no beef with the dude until this stuff:

From IMDB 11/23/05:
American Pie star Chris Klein has hinted at why Katie Holmes ended their engagement at the beginning of the year and found love with Tom Cruise - he has a mean streak. The unforgiving actor tells women's style magazine Elle that he hates placating women and refuses to accept his partner gaining weight because it leads to insecurity issues. He says, "When a woman isn't feeling good about herself and you combine that with her period, eventually she'll ask you if you like her body. You have to say no... I don't placate." He also admits he fell in love with the majority of his female co-stars and counts them all as ones that got away. Klein adds, "I've got this policy that you don't sleep with them (co-stars); it complicates stuff. So it's the Heather Grahams, the Rebecca Romijns, the Mena Suvaris, and the Leelee Sobieskis of the world. They all got away." Meanwhile, the actor admits he plans to stay friends with his ex, even though they no longer speak to one another. He states, "Are we friends? Absolutely. Do we talk? No."
