Tom Green Launching Tour Across Canada
By Kye Stephenson
Date: 11/22/2005 4:27 pm

Tom Green is on the verge of releasing his debut rap album Prepare For Impact and in support of his upcoming release, he is planning a tour across Canada.

The comedian/rapper is excited about his album and his opportunity to tour Canada to promote it.

"What we want to do when we tour across country is we want to bring some of that silly, fun, madness, circus-like atmosphere to play some shows around Canada. It's giving me an excuse to go get on stage and go tour Canada," he said.

Green's tour of Canada will start in January but details of the tour have not yet been released.

The comedian has previously stated his love for Hip-Hop and was also a founding member of the Canadian group Organized Rhyme.

The group received a Juno nomination for the song "Check the O.R." off their album Stiffenin Against The Wall which was released in 1992.

Green's album will feature production from DJ EZ-Mike (who produced for the Beasties Boys) and Mike Simpson of the Dust Brothers.

The comedian’s album Prepare for Impact hits stores December 6th.

this could be good... with some Dust Brothers production, and Tom's zanny wackiness...

i think it's extremely safe to say TomGreen's album >>>>> Britney's husbands album... ha

I find him annoying and completly idiotic. And I like Beavis and Butthead type humor, but Green just does stupid shit that makes no sense, it might be funny if I was japanese or drunk...but yah.

remember the bum bum song? it was hilariously bad and i'm sure he made it bad on purpose, but they voted it to #1 on TRL, that was just awesome.

I haven't read the lyrics yet...but from the short clips I've heard, they are about smokin', drinkin', girlies and shit. In some places it sounds like he's trying to come off too hard, but in my opinion he pulls it off in most of the clips.

From the clips I've heard I'll give it a thumbs up. (y)

I really like Tom Green, but from what I've heard of this, he ain't the best rapper. The beats are awesome though.

After listening to the first 2 songs on the new tom green, its not nearly as good as Check the OR. The lyrics are not nearly as creatively funny as I thought they'd be, and sometimes don't even rhyme. If anyone has the entire Organized Rhyme collection, that'd be sweet.

I actually had a bunch of Tom Greens old rap songs, before my old comp crashed. I liked 'em because they were just...stupid. But stupid in a good way, ya know.
