The laws of physics state they they would land at the same time, not to mention the fact that I think W's approval ratings are about as relevant as Billy Ray Cyrus's acting career at this point in time.

a human body has more wind resistance than an anvil thus giveing the anvil a higher terminal velocity. so the anvil would actually fall faster

No, they would fall at the same rate.

if air resistance wasn't a factor, yes

unless you know for a fact that you are going to be good at physics i suggest you do not take it.

it's required. i only wish i didn't have to take it ... :(

yea physic can be fun or a pain, but keep in mind that its really easy!
just pay attention to formula and evreything should be ok!

Physics kicks ass

and the anvil would hit ground first as it has higher terminal velocity like what turd said.

The anvil doesn't have a parachote either.

seriously. it's like, "awesome, his approval ratings are low, this means he won't get re-elected, that's a load off my mind"

Such myopia!

Bush's miserable approval rating could seriously hurt Republicans running in 06. If he loses the House & Senate, he may get de-elected, as in impeachment!

Exactly. Particles fall at the same accelleration, 9.81m/s. For the two things to fall at the same rate they would have to be dropped in a vacuum. Turd is infact correct that the anvil will have a higher terminal velocity. Wind resistance is usually small, but will count for a larger amout of such a large distance. If you don't believe drop a scrunched up and flat peice of paper, do the fall at the same rate? I'm doing physics at uni next year, and am taking a career in it. :D
