Undoubtedly the best album ever recorded. Hands down. Number 1. Numero Uno.

By The Time I Get To Phoenix is a great track.
As far as albums go, I prefer Black Moses.

I wouldn't go that far, but it's probably the best 4 song album ever. And definitely his personal best.
You should check out Black Moses, ...To Be Continued and the Shaft soundtrack, though. If you've never heard The Look Of Love, Do Your Thing and Good Love, you've still got lots of incredible songs to look forward to.

Whoever was playing drums on Hot Buttered Soul is the man.

I don't know the drummer's name, but I do know that The Bar-Kays, along with Hayes, played the bulk of the music on the album. They were incredibly talented artists in their own right.
