I started watching season 5 of Seinfeld and the episode about women faking orgasms got me to thinking. Now I know it’s been pretty well documented that women do it quite frequently but what about men? Also for men and women why do you do it? I know I have plenty of times for a variety of reasons. I guess as I’ve gotten older the things that get me off have changed. It’s a mental thing more than anything I guess. When I was younger the girl just had to be there and it was game on, now I need a lot more. Plus if it’s a woman that I really like or whatever I might over think things. I was definitely guilty of faking it quite a bit in my earlier sexually active years. Now I don't fake it, I just kinda wrap it up and call it a night if I know I'm not gonna climax. Sometimes it's better for everyone involved to just get the shit over with. Not having an orgasm doesn't necessarily mean the experience wasn't enjoyable, but if it's not gonna happen, it's not gonna happen. No sense in pretending it will/has just to cushion dude's ego. I never have, I believe faking encourages bad behavior and confuses the male into thinking he's doing something awesome when he's not. Well this is a hard thing to answer...back when I thought I knew what an orgasm was, I would fake it a lot of the time because the guy was just too freaked out about it, if he thought I didn't he would be like OMG OMG IM SORRY. Because it's just easy, really. If you say "oh it's not working for me" then maybe that gets into the whole conversation of "what's not working" and then having to explain and blah blah blah good lord it could just get fucking tedious. I've done it a few times.
