I saw the family on TV. Apparently, you can't actually hear the music outside the house. The guy broadcasts the music on a radio system and publishes the frequency so people who drive by can listen to the music on their car radios. He lives in an affluent neighborhood and says he doesn't want to bother the neighbors. He also only leaves the lights on a few hours each night, but the neighbors do have to put up with all the cars coming by to see it. His kids looked pretty embarrassed.

Edit: Shit! qdrop posted the Today Show still in the third thread on this stupid house! I only looked in this thread because I was searching for Christmas gift ideas. That will teach me to search old threads! :rolleyes:
