there were some lyrics making me think that dre is working a new album, but now it's been a decent amount of time since i've heard anything about it, anyone have any info?

dre's rhymes will be ghostwritten, his beats will all be co-produced, it will have unfunny skits, will probably be pretty decent and probably will never exist.

i read he is doing an album with swizz beats. i've heard alot of things about dre though. like when him and "bad azz" had a falling out, dude says "dre takes up and coming producers beats and slightly tweaks them into his own". i highly doubt he will ever release an album again, not that he needs to or anything.

I've heard he's supposed to drop an album called Detox in 2006.

Dre is notorious for announcing hes going to release something and then never following thru. Detox may come out but i wouldnt be suprised if it doesnt.

i dont hate dre, just no one seems willing to point these things out enough, its like he's untouchable for some reason. i think the man is responsible for some damn good music, just HOW responsible i question sometimes....

Detox is supposed to hit in 2006....

if you scan LimeWire and such...you can find supposed "leaks" from the album..
but they are mostly just garbage B-sides that never made the Chronic 2000 cut, etc...

have you guys heard "the face off" with eminem?
holy shit....complete garbage....

Scott Storch is apparently responsible for the Still D.R.E. beat - or at least the keys played on it. That's pretty much the most recognizable part of the song. I'm sure there are other examples of this with Dre, but I still think he's a great producer and a great hip-hop vet.

dude the reality of it is...the man is a legend in the hip hop game regardless what other people say.

the only problem that artists have with him is that they want more beats from him cause everything hes incorparted with is huge for these guys.

the truth is hes gettin old and hez rich as a mofo and he probably just wants to chill.

times have changed in the game ....he sees that i m sure

:D

i think people are just too scared to think he mightnt be the talent we all think he is....i used to be very protective of him, but if dude isnt putting in the work then he shouldn't get all the praise....

well I look at it this way..

Im pretty sure after he left Death Row they went down the tubes.

i mean there might be some minor players that are involved but I would go out on a limb to sat hes responsibe for about 90% of the production work.

lots of dudes i think are just trying to get some fame of his name.

he s pretty much the man ...as well as Primo.

:D

90%? Im not convinced its that much at all.....
Now with Primo, theres a man who you know from start to finish is making that beat.....

from my understanidngs ...

Dre put these dudes under his wing and brought them along when they were coming up.

if Dre did Straight Outta Compton in 87, im not too certain these dudes were around to help him out! lol

ps ...highly dissapointed with daz's prouductions of late and non of those names are relevant with him working with Em , 50 , Mary J , Nas etc...

:D

no, my point is, that those fellas help him make his beats (at various points in his career)
the NWA stuff was dope, but that was 16 years ago...A LONG time....
