Lara is without a doubt one of the best batsmen of all time, and deserves the record. A man who can score 400 runs in an innings is fucking legendary. Pity he played in Australia for the last time today :(

Home advantage was a lot to England which is one of the reasons why they won the Ashes. On paper, Australia are a better side but you've gotta make it all come together.

Anyway, England will one the next test and all the ODI's :p

Have you seen how well Hayden has batted this series? Hes got 5 centuries in the last 5 test matches, 450 runs in the 3 test series against the windies. You also said martyn twice, and him, kasper and the gypsy looking guy (gillespie?) have all been dropped. So has Michael Clarke. Now we have an absolute champion pair of batsmen in the team, Mike Hussey and Brad Hodge. Hussey has 2 centuries in his first 3 test matches. Hodge's stroke play is looking shit hot. The team has totally changed, and improved amazingly since the ashes.
