hahaha exactly, and you know the christian right in this country would be scared shitless. because either a) he's nuts and will stir up controversy and trouble or b) he's the real deal and we're pretty fucked right about now, this dude is gonna be pissed about a bunch of bigots getting rich on his name and word.

the world could use some strong leaders when it comes to morality and living in peace, too bad we're mostly too cynical to listen now.

It does inspire me to go and sit under a tree and meditate. I used to meditate but slowly stopped doing it because I wasn't leaving myself any time.

well, this story presents an interesting possibility in regards to meditation. basically if he were to survive without food and water for 6 months he would have to be basically forcing his body into hybernation through meditation. We do know that meditation has physical effects on the body that are still being discovered. I read recently that a study has discovered that those who were heavily trained in a particular form of buddhist meditation actually grew larger grey brain matter over time. meditation = bigger brain. And we have already documented that through meditation people can control thier blood pressure/heart rate, breath, etc, etc.

It seems unlikely that this individual has actually gone 6 months without food or water(he is probably getting at least trace amounts at somepoint) but it might be possible. ya never know.

If jesus did come back I'd hire him behind a bar. Theres the sink, now make wine biatch. We have customers! Then sell it at £1 a glass and people get wasted and go to heaven. And I know that is what people want out of life!
