well yeah I mean, it is pretty cool. I'd been before actually - a few years ago one July, when it was really nice out and NOT fucking freezing, which was definitely preferrable. Mostly this time I kept thinking that if those old druidy types really did use this at winter solstice, then they much have been pretty fucking hardy bastards and wearing a heck of a lot of goatskins, because it's in a big flat plain and the wind whips across it like a motherfucker.

It's definitely a bit weird that the highway runs right next to it.

So, to sum up: yes it's cool; go when it's warm.
