Hey ive been looking over these boards for a while and im wondering what programs you guys use to make these remixes/mashups?

gotcha, is it possible to create remixes and what not with programs such as
FL Studio etc? thanks in advance

Yea, I believe it's much easier. I don't really have much experience with computer programs though. I've heard good thins about FL Studio and Acid Pro.

I'm currently using Acid Music Studio 5.0 (although it wont load on my computer due to low memory..... i dont know what to do about that)
and Fruity Loops 3 or 4....those are two basic essentials in my mind for remixing

For remixin I use Fruityloops and for mash ups i have just been using my CD Decks with instrumentals and acapellas.

garage band and logic...its all you need...oh you need a mac too......its so amazing the power that both of those programs hold

I'm also usin a griffin iMic interface to record guitars, vocals etc. and as soon as I can afford a USB/Midi keyboard I wanna start using Reason. It's pretty wicket.

i think i use the griffin imic thing to, i use it to connect my turntable to the laptop, apple's got a pretty sweet set up for recording music

i say reason with some good midicontroller and a good midikeyboard, but this is just personal taste.. u should go and try things out to see what fits ur way of working best (y)

Im using Cubase SX and Reason.

Sometimes using cool edit for some audio editing. (y)

Fl Studio Pro, a soundfont bank made from extracted AKAI sample CDs, Reason, ACID, Soundforge, Goldwave, Cubase, Ableton Live, CDXtract, many many free vsti and dxi instruments and plugins. :D
