is the greatest... whether it's xm(never heard it though) or sirius(my pa' has one)or any other, they're so cool...
so i went on my dad's trucking route (13 hours long) from 6 am to 7ish pm. he bought a sirius a while ago... and when i go with him its the funnest thing...
i like the maxim channel... and the bruce springsteen channel...
my question is... do you have one? if so what stations do you enjoy the most? and what kind of radio is it? (y)

I have DishNetwork on my TV and it has a bunch of Sirius radio stations that play on the tube...Channel 6043 Backspin...Old School.
I'm getting Sirius for the car for xmas...making the switch to hear Howard 100!

I have XM and I pretty much only listen to it at work. I can't get normal radio reception at work, but for some reason I can with the XM boombox. I should try to get a better antenna in my car but until then the reception isn't good enough and I get frustrated by any static when I listen to music.
I got tired of the alternative music channels after a bit because they got repetitive. I like the 40s and 50s stations. I mostly like the electronica station for work because it doesn't tempt me to sing along; it was changed to xmas music this month. :( I was listening to Fungus's Rancid Radio show but I decided that it was too blue for my elderly secretary to handle--same for hip hop channels. God help me, I was listening to the Starbucks channel on Friday--but whenever I'm in my friend's car, he seems to get good stuff on there.
I'm going to be in a very flat place for most of next week. I should really try it in my car again.

I like the Bluegrass, Classic Country, 70s, and 80s stations too.
