Stella likes the Beastie Boys…

I was watchin some stand up, and a comedy group “Stella” came on and it had that guy from VH1 you know? Well one of the dudes said “when I say pantyhose you say sheer” and he’s like “pantyhose!” and the audience says “Sheer!” then the dude from VH1, his name is Michael something, says “alright, Adrock stop!” and I was like did he just say what I think he said? Haha, I just thought it was weird.

I think his name is Michael Ian Black. I don't really pay attention to subtitled names.

Yep, That's the episode. They kinda reminded me of the Beastie Boys too because they're 3 funny guys you know?

why is the show called "stella"? is it like "stellar" for "cool" only without the "r"?

oh, i forgot Stella had their own show on Comedy Central. i wonder if they're going to do more than one season, and if they already did, then where the hell have i been the past few months?

Michael Ian Black, Michael Showalter, and David Wain. If you haven't rented the movie "Wet Hot American Summer," do you yourself a favor and do so. They created it, and it's freakin' hilarious.

And yeah, I saw that on their standup. I'm not sure if it would qualify them liking the Beastie Boys, but it was a shoutout nonetheless.

Naw, I don't think it was that in-depth either. It was just that they wouldn't shut up with their rapping, so he said "Whoa, whoa, WHOA. Come on, now, Adrock. Stop."

They were just rapping machines, is all. :cool:

And all of Stella's performances are carefully planned out, so they must have all known who Adrock was.

i found an old rolling stone advertisement that i had ripped out and then i remembered their names out of nowhere.

i love wet hot american summer. i think that guy from SVU, christopher meloni is in it. i have to tie together random things to remember a specific thing because i'm weird like that. i really only remember his part from the movie, but i do remember saying "i love that movie" after i was done watching it.
