Anyone who's a Beck fan should definitly be looking out for the "Guerolito" remix album that's coming out on Dec. 13th (not sure about that date). There's a few remixes that are worth a listen that weren't on the deluxe Guero.

Hey yeah, thanks for that....just yanking your chain on the Beck name. I like the songs Beck has just streaming on his site out of the BoomBox (http://www.beck.com/) in the upper righthand corner....though they're not Guerolito, they are still good.

well, its "ripping him off" by downloading it, or just never hearing it...cuz I certainly wouldnt buy a remix album for full price.

They really ought to throw some of the new tracks from his website on there. It would make a lot of sense - and give people something besides just remixes.

Check out beck.com if you wanna hear them - "Untitled Song 2" is pretty good.

whoa..........i just downloaded a few of the remixes myself, to test the water............boy am i glad i didn't pay fifteen bucks for that. talk about a disappointment. maybe I just peeped out the wrong tracks, but there was some pretty wack stuff in there

The Hell Yes "Ghettochip Malfunction" remix is as good as or better than the original in my opinion - but I'm sure a lot of people already had that.

The Scarecrow remix is pretty good too, and while the Wish Coin mix is kind of odd, it's good once you get to know it (kind of like Government Cheese's version of Fingerlickin' Good).

i heard the ghettochip malfunction before the actual hell yes, before guero came out, ghettochip was on the net. and was slightly disappointed by the actual hell yes when the album came out.

umm... it wasnt pushed back to january... cuz i kinda saw it at Sam Goody about 5 hours ago... its in one of those cases like hello nasty though... i hate htose, but yea... its definatly out... i got it for christmas (y)

Last night I saw the Hell Yes video with the dancing robots...coolest goddamn video I have seen with robots since Intergalactic or that one back in the 80's with all those used manakin parts and dummies...oh god I forgot the guy who was in that!!

Adrock's remix sounds like something off of TTFB...maybe just a little more stylized. People like me were kind of hoping for a little more early 90's sound I think.

Yeah - there was a rumor it was pushed back, but I saw it at a store the other day too. I thought it'd probably be out for christmas. The quality of the mixes goes back and forth...personally I think I'd give it a 6 or 7 out of 10.
