happened to me for the first time last friday. for the time in a while i drank too much and passed out to find myself covered in thick pen all over my arms. And now i find out they've started a Simple Plan vs Beastie's thread.

I've actually never been drunk around a computer from what I can remember.

I don't get people who go online when they're drunk, because everytime I'm drunk I'm partying.

i sometimes mention it in passing, and i've shown it to one of my friends once, but it was for a good reason. we were making a mix cd, and i had asked the board for suggestions so we looked over it together.

sometimes i mention this place when i'm drunk, like "oh this guy i know said this one thing" and they'll say "where do you know him from?" and i say "oh, well, the internet", but hopefully i haven't dropped enough clues for them to figure out where this is exactly. i certainly haven't told them my password or anything though. i generally try to keep my internet life and my physical life completely separate.

they do seem to have a seriously flawed concept of what internet message boards are like, though. i may or may not have mentioned the preponderance of board couples/marriages (no specific names, just the fact that such couples exist) and they were fascinated. fascinated that A) there are girls on the internet and B) people on the internet meet each other at all, much less fuck. i don't know. i guess i feel privileged to be here, knowing what i know about people on the internet now.

Actually, to be honest, i used mickill's opinion to back me up once. i was telling my ex that prince was amazing live, according to "this guy i know, who's seen like, 8 billion live shows." I'm glad she didn't ask who told me that.

Oh, and I've brought up Andrea/Alruggs up in conversation with some of my friends, because she's helped me out in real-life a bunch.

i dont usually get drunk, just buzzed

and when i have been drunk, i just get tired, and so i don't mess aorund, i just sleep. and i odnt know anyone that really knows where this place is. my roommate always sees it open on my computer, but all he knows is that its a message board
