i'm i'm just getting back from a friends' house after watching the second lord of the rings (spcial edition). it's at leaste 3.5 hours long. last night we watched the first, and tomorrow the third (i havn't seen that one yet). i'm pumped.

no pubs open at 5; they all close at 2, here. pretty much all we do at night after me friends get off, is play video games and watch skate videos, while they get high or drunk, then go eat breakfast. every once in a while we'll go skate in the school. that pretty much sums up my week nights.

my parents hadn't seen LOTR so they borrowed my brother's (mad fan) copy of the first one to watch.

i was surprised they couldn't watch it all in one evening.

by the end of the second evening, i asked "so what did you think"

their reply

"well - there were an awful lot of long shots of just new zealand and the landscape and stuff"

i felt the third ending could have had like 3 wicked endings, but kept going on. the finale ending was good tho
