i usually end up going to shows by myself becuase nobody i know will come along. ive gotten used to it
usually people won't go see anything that isnt some big act, and those big ones usually bring along high prices so that rules out a lot of shows...
me though, i will see almost anything for $20 or less. as long as its not country, i dont mind checking it out

I went to the leeds festival by myslef, luckily yorkshire rose was kind enough to look after me. I also mark lanegan and nick oliveri live by myslef, surrounded by weird people with long beards. Usually get sepperated at gigs anyway.

That's kinda sad. I'll go see almost any show. I just love the energy that goes along with live music.

Yeah. I'll probably end up enjoying them bands, and he'll enjoy the buzzcocks. Should be fair exchange. Sharing different tastes? :)

yeah, i have one friend who is the same way in that respect. she will come to almost any show i ask her too.
the problem is that its hard with her not living here anymore, and working a goofy schedule. plus, neitehrof us have much cash to spend, so its hard to just run out to a show unless its a cheaper one

I say "go for it."
Sometimes, I will do a fair trade. But only if I can be a good sport about it. It's pointless for me to go if I know I'm going to hate it. Once in a while I'm pleasantly surprised by my friend's band.
