I hate litter bugs

Everyday when I get home from work and check my mailbox - I spot some sort of litter ( cigarette butts, candy wrappers, popsicle sticks,an occasional beer bottle or can, etc. ) in the ditch and every where else in front of my house. Instead of letting the crap just stay there and keep accumulating up - I get out a pair of gloves , a rake , bag and proceed to bend my ass over to clean and pick the shit up. It doesn't just annoy me at home, but everywhere I look in my town I see the garbage all over the place. I've never been a litter bug - because I was brought up not to be. And besides - if a cop catches you throwing out a soda can, fast-food trash or whatever they can fine you up to $500. But yet, while I'm on the expressway driving - I see people and their kids throwing crap out of their car windows all the time. If I ever have kids of my own and I catch them doing it - I swear that I will tan the shit out of their asses so well that they will NEVER even think about doing it again. How hard is it to wait until you get home to throw "would be litter" in an appropriate disposal ? It just shows respect, no matter how filled the roads might already be with trash - not to contribute to being a litter bug. (y)

Someone I knew threw his cigarette butt out of his window when driving and got pulled over and fined $50. He complained bitterly, but I told him that it was clearly posted "No Littering: Fines Up To $500" and that he got lucky. Apparently he doesn't think cigarette butts are trash, nor do most of the smoking population.

i dont like excessive littering, but sometimes if a situation is desperate i throw my shit outta the car. Usually just an apple core, cause i dont need that shit turning brown in my hand. throwing cig butts is stupid, it could fly in someones car.

^^That happened to me. Cruising down the freeway and some idiot throws a cig out his window, it hit my windshield and flies into my rear door window and burns a hole in the seat. I hate litterbugs too.
