Hey everybody...
I think I am playing by the rules...
I have a podcast that deals with indie music and artists who expand the boundries of usage and distribution.
The Beastie Boys are an obvious choice because they do SO MUCH to advance the adoption of their music. (applause) They rock too!
I have a podcast that features the Beastie Boys that includes a Karaoke version of 'fight for your right' with me blabbing over it.
I included 'Let's Get Busy' from the Wired Creative Commons CD, THEN I dug up a copy of Joe Price doing a Beastie classic, which should be viewed as a cover release.
Then I put together a mashup using Root Down along with two other acapella tracks. I am new to making mashups and there are a couple of spots where the vocal drags behind the beat a little, but I'd say 85% of it is kickin'.
Please check it out and let me know what you think!
Keep it on and on!!!
