i'm a new b-boys fan and wuts this about an arrest in london back in 87' in the licensed to ill days? :confused:

There was a show in Liverpool in 1987 when the Beastie Boys played to a very volatile crowd. Things were thrown on stage, and Adrock seemingly produced some bat or other. If memory serves right, a female member of the crowd was allegedly struck by an object. Possibly a beer can. It all got ugly, and Adrock was paid a visit by Merseyside Police. It was so long ago, maybe my recollection is frayed a little at the edges.
I bet Adrock shudders at the thought of Liverpool, even today.

I still have the newspaper clippin of adrock in the backseat of the police car, hundcuffed and laughing. gotta love NEWSDAY!

yes, give me some time to locate it. I had it taped on the back of my old bedroom door and when i threw the door out, i made sure i took all the beastie stuff off. I have to find it now. its yellow now!

I'm trying. I remember seeing it a couple of months ago and I pit it aside, knowing that I was going to need it one day again and i guess being stoned at the time didnt help. Im still lookin for it.

Interesting, they were friends right? I remember there was a rumor that he was buried in Adrocks back yard, i heard that a looooonnnnggg time ago, i was a small Jmoney at that time.

That is a cool newspaper clipping. I hadn't seen that one before. Perhaps what is the most interesting was that it mentions a working name for what later became the movie "Lost Angels"...It is a little blurry but looks like it says the movie was originally titled "Lunatack." Is that correct?
