I'm really digging his solo output at the moment. I have the core CD's - lust for life, the idiot, new values, soldiers, american ceaser, brick by brick and skull ring. I hear the other ones are abit shitty? Is this true?

I'm lucking forward to the new stooges album, whooo! Anyway, anyother fans?

Many years ago i made a thread when i was sercomdj01 claiming that was the best rock album ever. I havn't heard anything to change my mind since.

I think most of the albums have their highlights, even tho they're totally different compared. Like Avenue B hit me really hard when it came.
Zombie Birdhouse has Run like a villain and Eat or be eaten, Party has Pumpin' for Jill and Bang Bang, Blah Blah Blah has Real wild child and Cry for love. Of course it's not comparable to the stuff done with the Stooges, but I like that shit. Otherwise I wouldn't have gone to see Iggy dozens (http://img423.imageshack.us/img423/6682/iggytees7nq.jpg) of times...

So, really, it came down to the wire... Fun House or Raw Power?

I'd opt for the former. Consistent madness with random sax squaks versus good (yet badly produced [twice!]) rock and roll? I'll take the madness faster than you can say "Night Boat to Cairo"!
