just about every type of headphones that i have ever owned have bothered me to some extent

the best are the ones that are a little bigger, and dont sit inside your ear.

but in any case, they start to bother my ears after about 1 cd

Earbud headphones do suck. I like the really huge ones - plenty of bass, volume, and comfort.

I like how in the video for the first link he says they "isolate a lot of outside noise, so be careful when riding a bike or driving a car." Yeah, why not say "Don't use these in a car, because having headphones on while driving is illegal you fucktards." I guess that wouldn't be good marketing, though.

I can't use the standard ipod ones because they hurt too much and the sound is bad because they don't fit right. I spent a bunch of money on a couple of other styles of earbuds. The Sony ones felt better, but they were so secure that when I eat or drink with them on it makes bizarre noises echo in my head. This is a problem because I only listen to the ipod via headphones at coffee shops.

I used giant headphones that went with my old home stereo until they fell apart and then got some big German ones for $30. They're great and I can wear them forever without pain, but the cord is super long so it's impossible to use them on a walk.

I got some free headphones from work, they come with little rubber bungs that go RIGHT into your ear-canal. Like an aural suppository. Comes with 3 different shaped bungs (3L 3R) so that you can mix and match the perfect combination for your lugholes.

Earbud ones are the best. They sound best (well, good ones do), they are cheaper then any other type, and aren't all stupid looking like a pair of cans (who wears them in public?).
Nigga please. You gonna tell me cans don't look badass? I find it hard to believe they have better sounding earbuds with such a limited surface area, than cans. Get yourself some nice ones with a headphone amp, an you be rolling.
