So apparently I didn't see all the Sundance movies, and I was just looking at all the premiere ones (aka, the ones with the movie stars). I had missed all of them before - some pretty big stuff, a Michel Gondry movie, a Terry Zwigoff movie, a Neil Young documentary. I'm going through, seeing if there's any actors I like, and I think to myself "Wow, I would love it if Steve Carrell was in one of these. I would love to meet him".
Lo and behold, the next movie I click on stars Steve. I yelped.
It's called Little Miss Sunshine (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0449059/). So that brings my list of people I NEED TO find at Sundance '06 to
1. Beastie Boys
2. Steve Carrell
3. Will Arnett
4. Tim Robbins (I have such a huge crush on him)
Poor Will just keeps gettin knocked down on the list :( But I won't forget him!
And I will be keeping a sorta eye out for Ed Norton, Paul Giamatti, Stanley Tucci, Robin Williams
There's films with Bruce Willis, Josh Hartnett, Justin Timberlake, Sharon Stone, Katie Holmes, Jennifer Aniston and many more huge stars - bahahahha "independent" film -
okay sorry about another sundance post but I'm so excited about the carrell!

4. Tim Robbins (I have such a huge crush on him)
Explain.
I think the guy's got talent and all -- Dead Man Walking is probably one of the only movies made so far that actually matters -- but... yeah. Explain. :D

He's cute! And a fairly good actor. I also like his goofy side (like the character he plays in High Fidelity). But yeah, he's so cute in Hudsucker Proxy. Yay!
Bruce Willis, and Robin Williams would be cool to meet.
i wish i could go.

He's a very good actor. And he's not cute.
You're the sort of person they aim the fourth and fifth boyband members at.

I can't?
I don't quite understand that boyband members thing, but alright.
...you know how the boybands always have the two or so lead cuties, and then it works back to a couple of "who the hell thought THESE mutts were cute?" sort of guys that aren't competition, so every girl can have her very own Ringo Starr?
That's what I mean. :D

Tim Robbins is adorable. Even in the dreadful Arlington Road.
DandyFop: If you see Robin Williams, please stab him in the eye for me. Thanks eversomuch. :)

I rented it and to be fair, didn't give it my full attention. It was better than I expected.
I should have said that it was surprising that he was still attractive in a movie where he wasn't supposed to be attractive. How cute was he in Bull Durham though? You can totally see why Susan Sarandon fell for him. I have a huge soft spot for Bob Roberts, btw.

...she didn't fall for him, did she? She chose him as her project because Costner's character (Crash?) wouldn't be with her. I don't think she was attracted to Robins' character so much as attracted to an easily-manipulated sap with sapling talent.

Don't pull that *cry* crap on me. You're stalking her. Admit it. I'll go quote all your ass-kissing posts if you keep it up. Don't make me do it.
edit: All I want you to do is admit that you're a hypocrite douchebag. That's all.

OH is her fave Beatle George? Of course it is, it would have to be. I'm not stalking her, dude, it's just that WE ARE THE SAME PERSON. That's all. And I love myself, hence the arse kissing.

It feels more like I'm actually stalking her. Except that I'm not. We just have similar taste in some pop culture stuff. But is that REALLY surprising? I have good taste. Wouldn't you think that some OTHER Beasties fans ALSO have good taste?
P.S. I hate Robin Williams more than any "actor" except perhaps Martin Short. So there's something we can disagree on.

...ewwwwwwwwwww. His butt should be pretty badly rotted by now, shouldn't it? But not completely decomposed?
-- or was he cremated? Which would make this... well, it would be very, very hard to get your head up a cremated butt.

You know, I wondered the same thing.
I think he was cremated?

...I think he was cremated and then his ashes scattered up the nostrils of Phil Spector.
