It would be the equivalent of a gang of whites moving into a mainly, say, asian (it could be any race in there..) area, then starting to rob the asians, cause trouble etc. The asians would get pissed at the gang, and according to you, because the gang is white those asians suddenly become racists.

Whats been happening in Cronulla over the past however many years is pretty much what happen's in every coastal resort town in Australia like Byron or Noosa or Torquay or Margaret River - a whole bunch of tourists descend on the place like ravenous seagulls and harrass the fuck out of the locals in one way or another. For example, the agro in the lineup at The Pass in Byron is really intense, people get their punched in pretty regularly out there. Thats the reason I go round the corner to Watego's to surf. The only difference in Cronulla is that the people coming into the Shire are Lebanese. And because Australia, like pretty much every other predominantly white country is down on Muslims at the moment, all hell broke loose.

Out of the many things about this that has pissed me right off and embarrassed me is the use of the term 'Aussie' and the implication that Aussies are white and own this country. As far as I'm aware, the Aboriginal people had been here a while before that and have a deeper claim on this land than we do.
