Didn't need any tea leaves for this one; I could of told you this would happen before the last election...

http://rawstory.com/news/2005/Diebold_CEO_resigns_after_reports_of_1212.html

The chief executive officer of electronic voting company Diebold who once famously declared that he would "deliver" Ohio for President Bush has resigned effective immediately, RAW STORY has learned.

"The board of directors and Wally [O'Dell] mutually agreed that his decision to resign at this time for personal reasons was in the best interest of all parties," the company's new chairman said in a statement.

O'Dell's resignation comes just days after reports from BradBlog.com that the company was facing imminent securities fraud litigation surrounding charges of insider trading. It also comes on the heels of a RAW STORY interview with a Diebold insider, who raised new allegations of technical woes inside the company, as well as concerns that Diebold may have mishandled elections in Georgia and Ohio.

And my guess is the media will deem this a non-story, while in reality it is quite compelling and needs to be fully investigated.

We are being sold out by our own government and through the media, yes, even you sam or valvano or Q.

What are we going to do about it?

i thought diebold was more well know for banking supplies such as drive up windows, atm machine housings, and those tubes things that suck up your deposits over to the telles and bank drive throughs?

anyway, the system works it seems to me, corruption is being weeded out by the companies board of directors, isnt that the way its supposed to be?

In the run up to the election, the warnings about Diebold arose and were collectively shunned or ignored, and subsequently their machines (with no paper trails) were used in Ohio. Allegations of fraud were abundant after said election, a chimpanzee was able to hack a Diebold machine, and now this guy is resigning over being investigated for the very same activities that many prominent Republicans have engaged in.

Roll you eyes all you want. It doesn't change the fact that we are being manipulated.

Oh, and when it comes to money changing hands, of course their will be an investigation. Someone is losing money which might as well be murder in those circles.
