all guys rate people like that. you think they dont, and then you find out that even the sweetest nicest guys even that date ugly chicks all use the 1-10 scale to descibe girls to other people.

and for the record, is a close friend and i asked his honest opinion. and his opinion is always very honest. i dont think he was just sayin 7 to be nice, cause once he told me that my hair smelled like throwup when i hadnt had a shower that morning.

i haven't heard anyone use the number system in awhile... it's usually "she's got a great personality and is super cool" that turns a girl into below a 7.

well the first rule of the rating system is - a 10 can never be achieved. ever. theres no such thing as the perfect...well...anything!

so 9 is the best....so a 7 is pretty good i suppose.

thats all if i indulged in the objectification of women......

7's good. i'd take it as a compliment.

i've always had trouble with this scale, because on a scale of 1-10, 5 is average, but must people don't call average-looking people a 5, 5 is generally slightly ugly. so 5 is below average. maybe it works like you get grades in school? 70 and up is a C, 59 and below is a fail? i don't know.

anyway, i wouldn't be offended by 7. then again, i'm probably a 6, so what do i know

income
etc...

so never count on a number... no pun intended!! :rolleyes:

I myself dont use the numbered system. Like you said, its different with people. 5 is thought of as average while some think thats good or below par. However, those who change the meanings of the numbers usually are the ones who are ugly and want to make themselves believe they are hot.

all i'm saying is, love has very little to do with the 1-10 scale, and those who use it generally aren't looking for love. 1-10 doesn't measure loveability, it measures fuckability, that's why it was invented by asshole frat boys. we'd be wise not to confuse the two.
