View Full Version : Girl....or boy....

Today I went for my 2nd scan and hubby and I were hoping to find out the sex of the baby (for purely practical reasons - there's only so many 'neutral' item you can buy...)
"It's a girl" said the ultrasound lady
"No...wait...it's a boy"
"No...it's a girl...errr"
"Oh wait...i'm not sure!"
Keeping it's legs tightly closed the little one wants to keep it's identity a secret 'til the big day! :D
(Hubby is convinced it's a boy though - using his thorough *ahem* knowledge of ultrasounds he believes he saw it's bits)
So everything is going well, touch wood. The baby is fine and growing well and we can't wait to meet him or her!

Oh! What a drama! I'd have been so ... I dunno, sort of disappointed I guess if I hadn't been able to get a more definitive answer when we went for ours last week. Will you have any other chances to find out? I have to have another scan at 34 weeks to see if that lazy placenta has gotten itself out of the doorway.

I have to have another scan at 32 weeks so you never know he/she may give us a flash then :D

I only know of one instance in which the chart conflicted with the actual sex of a person we know, and that was my for my brother. But then, he is kinda feminine.
As for people we know that had babies over the last few years, it was 8 for 8. And it got ms. peachy's right, too.

I see that you are 32, like avignon, and that you are married and expecting a baby, unlike avignon. Congratulations.
AWESOME! You know everything about everyone!

Ooooh! It predicts a girl with 66.5% accuracy.

Well, congrats either way.
I think there's a good chance you're having a girl, though.
