random topic but I remember how big the beasties were with the skateboarding crowd in the early 90's. Just wondering if you new guys are into skating too.
me personally, i've been skating since 88. Now my knees are kind of shot, so I still cruise around, but I've gotten into collecting alot in the past 5 years.

I've been skating off and on since 86. I just got an the enjoi rasta panda board. shits got some good pop. first time i've tried enjoi. my friend also got me a re issue of the powell vallely to go up on my wall with my original that is all beat up.

I also got a zero deck with tensor trucks with some dark star wheels for my lady....but she hasn't stepped foot on it for months...so i claimed it as mine. nice trucks and wheels...im not sure how i feel about the shape of the deck yet though.

on another note(since we are talking about boards).....i found an anthem 158 snowboard with custom burton bindings on the highway this weekend on my way to do some boarding. how fucking sweet is that?

It can use some repairs since it probably fell onto the highway off of a car going about 65 mph. So there are some dings here and there. One major dent on an edge which may make it unusable. But if I can get it fixed...it will be nice for some powder out in Utah and Colorado this Feb.
And yes, this winter is gonna be good. Man.

i did skate a little bit,but my brother was a real fan of it,he loose a nail because of a bad flip of the skate!!do you remember thoses multicolor laces!I dont know if it was hot all over canada,states,but in montreal ,around 1988,,,it was hot!My brother had like a tons of them!

i sort of used to... i would make up my own "awesome" tricks.. that were pretty tough to pull off.. i can almost land a kickflip now, though i dont do it anymore.. snowskates are fun too (y)

downhill is badass, actually all mountainbiking is pretty fun. I like to ride mountain bikes in the city. hopping up, down and over stuff is the best
