glad i did, becuase otherwise i would have been working for the state...
but it pays good, and there are onlt 4 or 5 other people who work in this company so it will be a nice small business experience.
now as soon as my group member returns, i can finish this report and start my vacation.
no more school till august (y)

That's cool that you just started but you get to use your vacation. I can't use any vacation for like 6 months.

yeah, thats what it is. i did 2 rotations at one place and the comprorate guys left me hanging out to dry. my boss was a cool guy, but he just never had billable work for me to do...
but this place should be cool, its new to the co-op scene, and its a better pay than i was getting before. so i am pumped.
and fucktogirl: its an engineering co-op, so ill be doing things to get experience in civil engineering. i really don't know for sure what, but it should be anything from making copies to serious bid proposal type work. i do whatever they want me to do really.

Is it an internship type thing? Will you be getting paid?
I don't think I've ever heard of a co-op. But then again I was pretty much a tool in college. I never did an internship.

yeah, its nice to say that once i graduate, i will have worked a year in the workforce, and should have a fair idea in what to expect.
a lot of companies will hire their co-ops once they graduate as well
although, i can safely say im not too worried about job placement, since my department has had 100% placement for graduates for at least the past 5 years running

thanks to this job, i won't have to get a loan during my college career (y)
so i will not have any debt once i graduate. granted, i won't have much money, but its better than being in the hole
