We've had chatrooms in the past and nobody used them because people seem to prefer IM and the message board...so it was no longer worthwhile maintaining one.

Yeah, we need a chat room! At first when I got connected for the first time in 1999 and 2000 I used to go mostly to the chat room than the board. The board was weird and I didn't like it much. Although I haven't been in a chat room for quite a while I would like to go again! It should be fun!

OK, everyone, if you would like to join a #beastieboys channel, (not certain if it's official or not anymore) then firstly, you should grab the mIRC program here. (http://mirc.com/get.html) Once you have downloaded and installed the program, fill out the necessary information that pops up when the program is opened. Then type on the white text bar (in the status window) -- "/server irc.landoleet.org". If you have successfully connected to the server, type "/join #beastieboys".

I hope that was a sufficient enough explanation. I am Vincent in the room, and TAL is TAL obviously. damaja usually goes by Luiz or Miguel.
