View Full Version : I don't like parties anymore/the winter blahs/crushes

I mean, they're fine and all, but it's always the same thing. I'm getting old I think.

last saturday at a party there was this guy who reminded me of crispin glover so I told him so and said he should take it as a compliment and he got all weird about it, so I got pissed off. and some of my friends were going to come to the party but on the phone they kept asking, "are there super hot chicks there?" and I was like, "uhh, not really, I don't know" and then they didn't come. stupid boys.

and a friend that cort has a crush on came and he's dating some ugly girl that happened to be at the party and he didn't even tell us. before the party, he was hanging out with the guy I have a crush and the crush's girlfriend, but my friend was like, "yeah, but he still definitely has a huge crush on you". gah.

so then I just went over to my undefined relationship boy's house who's best friend is Punk Rock Boy (who I was in love with years ago) and his friend G (who used to have a crush on me) was sleeping on the couch. In the morning before my boy drove me home, I had to awkwardly walk out and say, "uh, hi" to G and then go pee and they didn't have toilet paper!

life is ridiculous. I'm moving to alaska to work on the pipeline.

they didn't have toilet paper? that's inhumane.

Sounds like there's potential for a bizarre love square there.

so, reading this back to yourself^...
do you feel kinda embarrassed?
like "man, what am I...15?"

the crushes will end if you start looking at men in a differant way....less on the physical, and more on thier personality, future prospescts, independance, ability to provide....

I don't want any part of any love square. I just want a normal funny boy who doesn't have issues or a girlfriend. and one who doesn't giggle in the bedroom.

people rag on sarky for telling it like it is. that's how we all really feel, and she's real enough to say what we aren't. we're all just too mature and stuffy to admit that we still feel like heartsick freshmen.

fuck yeah I'm embarassed. it's all so dumb, I'm sick of it, that's what I'm trying to say. My "crush" isn't even like a crush, I seriously like that person and we get along well. He's not even hot, he's chubby and balding, but he has style. It's not like, "ooh, I wanna bang that guy", I just want to go on an architectural tour with him and hold hands. :o I already have people for the banging.

:o I already have people for the banging. ya think maybe that complicates things?

what's this "we" shit?

sure, Most guys will always have some of that neanderthal "ohh...look at her tits...id like to bang that! high five!"...but REAL men keep that shit in perspective...it's a fun, fantasy thing, not an actual way of going about life.

and REAL women are the same. they may still giggle at a cute guy in jeans on TV...but they know what really matters, and can keep a mature perspective on things...setting realistic priorities and goals with relationships.

it's about maturity.

having 5 goofy crushes and keeping track of old crushes...and still using the word "crush" is kinda goofy once you hit your 20's and beyond.

Maybe you are getting too old for these people, the roomates, the lack of toilet paper, and the whole scene. Maybe out growing it emotionally if not just age-wise. I know I would be. And I've given up on finding a guy with no issues, no past relationships still lingering in his life. Unless he's been shut up by himself for the last few years, he'll have other girls around him and exes and old crushes and stuff. You have those too, you have issues just like these guys do. You just, I don't know, work through it and know immediately what you will and won't put up with and don't settle. No TP? I'm out.

dude, I'm totally mature. I wish to god there was another word for crush, because I don't really mean it that way. as far as keeping track, I just have a good memory.

and actually, I stopped having sex with the boys I used to. we just make out now, with the option of more. I don't want to be a baby momma...or get an STD. I think having boys on the side actually makes things easier. That way if I need something, it's there. Those boys are my friends and they're good at canoodling...but I wouldn't want to date them. and if they want to date me, they should've said something by now instead of letting ourselves use eachother.

anyway, some girls I know get really down about not having a boy to kiss, so they're like desperate for dates. I have boys to kiss, so I don't care as much. I'd just like it for once if I have a connection with someone it would work out and not be so complicated.

AND I DON'T NEED NO MAN TO TAKE CARE OF ME. jerk.

If you don't wanna say 'crush' you could always use the term 'puppy love'.

Like, "I think I'm in puppy love with so and so...".

Maybe not. I don't know. Just ignore me, I don't know what I'm talking about.
