...still, you may buy it for me for Christmas.
It's WAAAAYYYYY overpriced. What did Spielberg pay for one of the sleds? $500,000?

Regarding the title of this listing, I stand be my assessment that this is the single greatest and most important onscreen movie prop ever offered. One might think that the Rosebud sled from Citizen Kane would fit that bill. However, Orson Welles himself and numerous other experts have clearly stated that all the sleds used onscreen in the film were burned. The several remaining sleds, including the famous Steven Spielberg copy, were all stand-by props or contest give-aways. This cup is the single one-and-only onscreen object held by Welles himself in the film. The hand-engraving is like a fingerprint and can be matched exactly to numerous photographs and the close-up presented in the film.
The magnificence of this object is indisputable. To hold the Cup is an experience. For me personally, it took me back to that exact moment when Welles as Citizen Kane accepted it. It will ennoble anyone in its presence.
