BEASTIE BOYS SIRIUS DEAL

After the overwhelming response of everyone to Beastie Radio, and the jam packed servers that couldnt handle all of the traffic, wouldnt it be obvious that someone needs to break some of the SIRIUS Howard Stern money off and give it to the Beastie Boys so they can do a Weekly Live Show?

It could be exactly whatever the fuck they want just like there doing now. Talk shit, play whatever and preview any new Beastie music... (y) plus have guests. C'mon now...

If Tony Hawk can do it, the Beastie Boys could do it better!

i think the beastie boys are interested in helping out little radio not xm or sirius radio plus an every week thing doesnt sound like a commitment they would do. maybe one of them

I'm pretty sure that's for SIRIUS....unless Bob thought having his own shit on SIRIUS wasn't enough so he needed to get up on some XM too.

Run your own (neighborhood) Beastie-or Beck or Radiohead or whoever-station with one of these (http://ramseyelectronics.com/hk/default.asp?page=amfm). Seriously. Though past a certain power output, you gotta get a license.

Then just add a cheap mixer plus a microphone & a CD or MP3 player and ta da! you're ready. I wanted to do this while I was in college in the late 90s but ran out of $$$.

In my local paper today there is a Radio Shack ad for sirius radios. The portable sirius model display shows "Beastie Boys, Brass Monkey" as the song. Wonder if this has any special meaning?

i like the free aspect of it on little radio. which is better Sirius or XM? id go for the one with MLB. or bboys... but id rather not pay, but i would.
