so i was thinkin about it, and part of the reason i fucked up so bad is becasue i didnt even realize how many classes and assigments i missed till it was too late. i didnt keep track of anything. so i got a planner, it has months and weeks in it. so im gonna get like some frowny face stickers, and whenever i skip a class or miss an assigment, a frowny face goes down on that day. then when i open up my planner, im like "holy shit thats a lot of frowny faces, i gotta straighten up!"
it's very third grade, but hey, whatever works

maybe i should get some happy stickers too, so if i do really awesome on something, i get one of those, and when i look back and can be like "fuck yeah i pwnd that test!" and it will be uplifting.
think they make stickers that say PWND!

i had a planner once....
don't be like me...i put my assignments down for the first 2 weeks of classes, then gave up on it becuase i hated pulling it out all the time to add ot it or figure out when something is due.

I'm not trying to be negative, but I doubt it will work. I am extremely unorganized, I procrastinate notoriously, etc., and after 5 years of saying every time "well next semester, I'll be organized!", it's never happened.

I was studying for a final exam in my last semester of law school and when I reviewed my class notes, for one day's entry all I had was a note from the friend who sat next to me in class saying "Documad paid no attention in class because she was reading about Ted Bundy."

Barb is right. You'll be nice and organized for a few days and then you'll just say "fuck it". And stop drinking Listerine. :p

Yeah. I would try this method - as soon as you get something, an assignment, whatever, immeditaly do at least a little bit of work on it. If you get it in your head to start thinking about it, not only will you forget it but you will up your chances a whole lot of having it finished in time.

since i comepete all of my assignments on engineering paper, i usually putt out a sheet of it and write down the heading for the page and what class and the assignment all up on top so that when i flip through my folder, i see page and remember to do that assignment.
i always put the due date on the top too, so that way i can prioritize

well i dont get assignments in class, and its rare that the teacher mentions them. everything is done online. i guess its handy for classes over over 200 people, cause the teacher can give homework everyday if he likes and never has to grade it, the computer grades it. i hate the online homeworks so much. especially for chemistry cause you have to type things in all fucked up, like to denote formulas and reactions and things.
this isnt so much to help me remember specific assignments as to make me face how many i actually dont do. im sure if im more aware of it i'll do more. i think i have to almost make all As this semester in order to not fail out, so i have no option but to do better about homework. this is just somethign to help me out a little to stay motivated
