....any of you folks ride motorcycles? I think mp does.

Anyway.... this had a photo accompanying the article in the paper, which I really wish they reproduced here. I see no point to this, but maybe I'm missing something.

without seatbelts or proper back support, I can really only see this causing more injuries than it prevents.

That's kinda what I was thinking. I mean, wouldn't it just cause another big whooompf of imapct from yet another direction, basically?

yeah. I figured it would just send you flying backward in a head-on collision. that is, if your body even hits the airbag. Motorcycle riders usually fall off their bikes in an accident.

I do not.

I have coupons for Streetlight Records, Rusputin Music, Border's Books, and Vitamin Shoppe.

I also have two adult day-pass tokens for the bus which I don't need.

everyone know;s the risks when it comes to riding. my dad's best friend died of a biking accident a couple of years ago. if country's really want to make riding safer they should make people wear back and neck braces similar to what they use in moto gp

I'm not for this
They need to make motorcycles that don't crash

Yup, that's why I sold my R1. Too many fucking idiots on the road in SUVs that don't pay attention. I've packed in biking for a car with 8 airbags.

I saw this prototype airbag that actually wraps around the driver and creates a pod, in a collision. Still not safer than a car, but safer than this.

Riding a motorcyle means risking your life to other drivers everytime you ride.

Yeah, it would more likely project the rider into the air on impact. And can you imagine if it went off in error? I used to have a Saab that had a faulty airbag...fucking thing punched me in the face when I was doing 95mph down the motorway.

Like endos? Or the burnouts they do? burnouts are a laugh, until you have to pay £350 for a new rear tyre.
