what is even funnier than the actual joke being played is the fact that its actually better than some real rap out there now a days.

edit;

Lazy Sunday,
Wake up in the late afternoon
Call Parnell just to see how he's doin'
Hello?
What up, Parn!
Yo Samberg, what's crackin'?
You thinkin' what I'm thinkin'?
Narnia!
Man it's happ'nin'!
But first, my hunger pangs are stickin' like duct tape.
Let's hit up Magnolia and mack on some cupcakes.
No doubt, that bakery's got all the bomb frosting.
I love those cupcakes like McAdams loves Gosling.

Two! No, Six! No, Twelve! Baker's Dozen!
I told'ja that I'm crazy for these cupcakes, cousin!
Yo, where's the movie playin'?
Upper West Side, dude!
Let's hit up Yahoo Maps to find the dopest route.
I prefer Mapquest!
That's a good one too.
Google Maps is the best!
True that! Double true!
68th and Broadway.
Step on it, sucka!
What you wanna do Chris?
snack attack, mutha----!

The Chronic-what?-cles of Narnia!
Yes, the Chronic-what?-cles of Narnia!
We love that Chronic-what?-cles of Narnia!
Pass that Chronic-what?-cles of Narnia!

Yo, stop at the deli.
The theatre is overpriced!
You got that backpack
I'm going to pack it up nice.
We don't want security to get suspicious!
Mr. Pibbs and Red Vines equals crazy delicious.
Reach in my pocket and pull out some dough,
Girl acted like she never seen a $10 before!
It's all about the Hamiltons baby
Throw the snacks in a bag and I'm Ghost like Swayze.

Roll up to the theate
Ticket buying what we're handling,
You can call us Aaron Burr from the way we're dropping Hamiltons
Parked in our seats movie trivia's the illest!
"What Friends alum starred in films with Bruce Willis?"
We had the dope facts, it was scary:
Everyone stared in awe when we screamed Matthew Perry!
Then quiet in the theatre or it's gonna get tragic
We're about to be taken to a dream world of magic

The Chronic-what?-cles of Narnia!
Yes, the Chronic-what?-cles of Narnia!
We love that Chronic-what?-cles of Narnia!
Pass that Chronic-what?-cles of Narnia!

here's an audio clip of the rap. I basically recorded the junky quality movie stream, but it's worth it just to hear the track on repeat.

The Beastie Bakery Boys (http://www.courier-journal.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20051224/FEATURES/512240340/1010/FEATURES)

By Tamara Ikenberg

The Courier-Journal

"I KNEW THE CARVER WAS QUENTIN ALL ALONG. WHERE'S MY CASH PRIZE?"

Sexy "Saturday Night Live" newcomer Andy Samberg and old, sporadically amusing standby Chris Parnell paired up for the show's funniest, most positively buzz-inducing bit in ages last week. In the digital short "Lazy Sunday," the two become a dorky Beastie Boys-style duo with their own ridiculous hard-core rap: "The Chronic (What?) cles of Narnia."

This breath of fresh "SNL" air is proof of the magic that can be made when a newbie and an old-timer bond. For instance, Mike Myers had only been on "SNL" briefly when he and Dana Carvey teamed up for "Wayne's World."

The skit has nothing to do with the content of "Narnia." Parnell and Samberg are simply preparing to go see the movie together on a quiet weekend.

On their way to the theater, they rap about the merits of Mapquest, menacingly munch New York's Magnolia Bakery cupcakes, "drop Hamiltons" instead of Benjamins and fill their backpacks with Mr. Pibb and Red Vines to escape prohibitive movie refreshment rates. Words can't do the brilliant randomness of it justice.

To see the laugh-out-loud late-night "Lazy Sunday," go to www.nbc.com and click on video.

Like, I can shake my ass to it just like the next guy... But saying it is nothing more than a catchy ringtone is just stupid.

Yeah, I know. I actually saw one of those super-annoying Jamster commercials advertising the Laffy Taffy ringtone before I ever even heard the song. I guess it was just meant to be...

As the Village Voice eloquently states:
After a particularly weak year for indie-rap, it's something that white rapping herbs across America could learn from: sledding and 7-11 runs and Animal Planet are more interesting another fuck-Bush song, and you don't have to act like a buffoon to make them funny. Why isn't everything this easy?

Check out 'The Lonley Island', that's the comedy group Andy Samberg was in, and they made a bunch of other funny rap songs. 'Just 2 Guys' is the best one.
