Forgive me if this has been discussed before; I think there are several references to Eminem in TT5B. The BB were asked in an interview and they said no, but, they weren't asked if there were references to Marshall Mathers or Slim Shady.

Some references might not be exact, going from memory without consulting lyrics; Here's my list; anyone else?

This is ridiculous. Some of the links you've tried to make here are actually laughable.

The BBoys would never diss Slim Shady. They've stated in many interviews that they have a lot of respect for him and he is doing great things for the rap industry. Eminem also frequently cites the Beastie Boys as one of his biggest influences.

Sorry but it's obvious you don't know much about hip-hop, or the Beastie Boys. The BBoys are popular and experienced enough in the industry to just come out and say it if they have a problem with somebody (eg Yauch's on the upright, this shit just aint funny/Got fat bass lines like Russel Simmons steals money). Why would they try and diss someone without them noticing? There is no way that any kind of beef could be this vague. I mean, what's the point in insulting someone if they don't even know, and so can't retaliate? These lyrics are much too ambiguous for anyone to actually take offense at. It seems pretty obvious to me that the BBoys are just carrying on the old skool party rap traditions of Run DMC and the like by having a pop at Sucker MC's in general. (y)

The Beasties kept hearing it or something at some awards show (I think) and began saying it to each other for a laugh. And then Eminem came into their dresing room and said it sincerely, and they just laughed.

As I said, I think any claims of a 'falling out' were not true. Adrock said he just came in and introduced himself and was polite. Still, the story did make me laugh.

I'm not so sure it was the Grammies, but at some award show he said something like "I want to thank all the MC's that influenced me" and started listing names. I believe he started out with "Beastie Boys, NWA, Run-DMC..." and then listed about 10 or so more.
