Yessss. I love the fish and the chips. Both together with plenty o' grease, salt, and maybe even the right sauce or gravy, I don't know. I love the smell of a fish and chip shop. I really just love to hear about any kind of fish and chip shop. I haven't been to a fish and chip shop in ages.

Of course there's also a chinese take out joint in Manchester I couldn't get enough of. But nothing could beat the sauce St. Monica's had with the chips for lunch time. That was my fav-or-ite. Just over all the chips and then I wouldn't even bother to cut those tasty chip morsels, I'd just fork a whole one and scoop up all kinds of sauce. I could never get enough of that sauce.

My uncle owned a fish and chip shop in Bath I think it was. It was jolly good.

I do enjoy a nice bit of fish and chips with loads of vinegar. But then, there's that whole problem with the depletion of cod stocks, which makes me a bit sad, so I don't get it too often. It's a nice occasional treat though.

I do enjoy a nice bit of fish and chips with loads of vinegar.

the key word here is "vinegar".
well, i guess "loads of" works as well.
i luh fush n chups but only occasionally, it's better that way.
it sucks when your local isn't top quality...but if finding good fnc means going further, then let it be so.

i dont get vinegar cos i find it makes it a bit soggy
and the tartare sauce or mayo makes up for it
and lemon, i have heaps of lemon
like not just juice but lemon pulp :)
i always feel so greasedout after it
but its tasty :)
most places here have nice fish

edit: apparently we say "feeesh and cheeeps" :D
