I thought you had a boyfriend?
Boyfriend does not = no masturbating.
Sometimes you just want to.

Other contributing factors include trauma or injury to the wrist that cause swelling, such as sprain or fracture; overactivity of the pituitary gland; hypothyroidism; rheumatoid arthritis; mechanical problems in the wrist joint; work stress; repeated use of vibrating hand tools; fluid retention during pregnancy or menopause; or the development of a cyst or tumor in the canal.
Goddamn it! So the vibrator is out too! Oh not fair! :(

The fact that you can type this thread casts doubt on your diagnosis.

oh come on now typing at the computer has nothing to do with carpal tunnel. sheesh. who ever heard of such non sense? I mean really!
oh ok here we go: Tingling or numbness in your fingers or hand, especially your thumb, index, middle or ring fingers, but not your little finger.
Not the pinky finger! Cool so it's something else. I guess I don't have to stop with the masterbations or the hand jobs. Mr. Cookiepuss will be so pleased.

You left out some important information of possible other causes:
Most likely the disorder is due to a congenital predisposition - the carpal tunnel is simply smaller in some people than in others. In some cases no cause can be identified.
There is little clinical data to prove whether repetitive and forceful movements of the hand and wrist during work or leisure activities can cause carpal tunnel syndrome. Repeated motions performed in the course of normal work or other daily activities can result in repetitive motion disorders such as bursitis and tendonitis. Writer's cramp - a condition in which a lack of fine motor skill coordination and ache and pressure in the fingers, wrist, or forearm is brought on by repetitive activity - is not a symptom of carpal tunnel syndrome.

So it's happening again....half of my left hand has gone completely numb from my ring finger to my pinky. I haven't been sitting on my hand or anything like that.
what the fuck, Hand? why?
When I lay in bed playing video games I get that happening. I almost gave myself a stranger last night just cause I could, but had to beat the next level.

Poor circulation possibly? At any rate you should try switching partners and see if thats not it... I am a willing subject.
In all scientific experiments you must be able to recreate the results....
